Cheryl Farnsworth
MPT/Owner, Dry Needling Certified
Cheryl Farnsworth is the therapist women come to when nothing else has worked. With over 26 years of experience and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah, she has built her career around a simple belief: find the root cause, treat the whole person, and let the body heal naturally.
She is an integrative, hands-on practitioner — certified in advanced Functional Dry Needling (FDN) and the Graston Technique — who takes the time to truly listen before she ever begins treatment. Her patients don’t feel like appointments. They feel like priorities.
“Pain is never random.
There is always a reason — and once we find it, everything changes.”
Cheryl Farnsworth, MPT
Her Story
Early in her career, Cheryl recognized a gap that conventional medicine was failing to fill: women experiencing pregnancy-related pain — back, pelvic, and rib discomfort — were being told to rest and wait. She developed one of the region’s first specialized prenatal and postpartum programs, and quickly became the therapist women trusted when no one else had answers.
That reputation grew into a calling. In 2012 she founded a multidisciplinary wellness center rooted in the integrative, whole-body philosophy she’d been practicing for over a decade — the same philosophy that powers Cutting Edge Physical Therapy today. She has since helped thousands of women across Murray, Utah and the greater Salt Lake City area heal naturally from complex, chronic, and often overlooked conditions.
